Back again this year, a tradition of 48 years! The Dana Point Festival of whales is a two fun-filled weekends, March 2 & 3 and 9 & 10, 2019 . The Festival is free to attend and there are several different activities that have different costs throughout both weekends.

The Festival kicks off with the Whale Parade - on March 2nd at 10am. This is our local - small town - famous parade!

The parade embraces the Festival’s theme of Magical Migration with parade floats and entries decorating in an ocean/whale theme and costumes. Giant helium parade balloons of a Blue Whale, Orca and many other sea life creatures fill the air over head during the parade. Thinking of enrolling your child in one of the Spanish Immersion Schools offered by the Capistrano District in South Orange County? There's a new program starting at RH Dana Elementary in the upcoming school year 2019-2020.

Parents, students and community members have three chances to learn more about RH Dana Elementary School’s Spanish Dual Immersion Program through a series of informational meetings.

Under the language immersion instruction, students would be taught in English 50 percent of the time and in Spanish the other 50 percent. It's a Western Wonderland! The 44th Annual Dana Point Boat Parade of Lights will sail into the Harbor on Friday & Saturday, December 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2018.

Orange County Turkey Trots 2018This year the Turkey Trot is happening a little earlier in November and some of you may not be ready for it - so here's a small list of Thanksgiving Turkey Trots happening around us right here in the OC.
