Dana Point's 2014 Halloween Haunt and the Spooktacular & Moonlight Movie

With Halloween coming up pretty quickly, here's reminder on some of our favorite Dana Point's Halloween events for this year 2014.

First, don’t miss out on Doheny’s Halloween Haunt! Bring your family and friends to celebrate Halloween in a fun and safe environment with good ole fashioned spookiness, arts and crafts, a fun zone, and an array of educational booths. The event runs from 6:30-8:30 pm and meets at picnic sites A and B. There is no charge for admission; however, a donation of one non-perishable per person is greatly appreciated. Don’t’ forget to dress up those little ones!

When: October 25th 2014 6:30 - to 8:30pm.

Where:Doheny State Beach, picnic sites A and B.

Second:  At 4:30pm the City of Dana Point will be hosting spooky fun to include Halloween Cupcake Decorating, Best Carved or Decorated Pumpkin Contest (ages under 12 years) bring your already carved or decorated pumpkin! Marionette Show, Carnival games and there will also be a children's costume parade with a free treat for each chid, are part of the festivities.

At 6:30pm join us for the Moonlight Movie featuring "Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone" rated PG.  Free refreshments will be available too.

Third: Halloween Boo CruiseThe haunted vessel, Sum Fun, will be cruising the harbor ever 20 minutes. This event is fun for the whole family and there will be a costume contest on every cruise! Be sure to dressed in your best Halloween attire! Be sure to get here early as this is a really popular event!

There is a $5 donation for each person (no donation for children 1 and under) with all proceeds to benefit Us Too Gymnastics and Community Autism NOW
