First festival to kick off your summer this year: The Doheny Surf Festival will return to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point this June!.
Presented by Subaru, the 2014 festival promises a jam packed weekend of activities for all ages to celebrate Doheny’ s legendary surf history while raising funds for local State Parks. The festival is FREE which includes all things related to surfing! Great bands will be playing on stage, there will be surf demonstrations, many vendors with items like new wave-riding products, unique gift items, beach fashion wear, and unique surf items, many kids activities and tons of environmental and surf education, and not to forget, the Kona Brewing Party station! Open to the public and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29. The Doheny Surf Festival raises greatly needed funds for local State Parks, including Doheny State Beach.

The Tyler Warren Invitational: Representing the “New School” of traditional longboarding
Terry Martin “Concours d’Elegance” Exhibition – The public is invited to bring a board shaped by Terry and participate in the exhibition ride on Sunday. Register in advance at the HOBIE booths with a $20 donation to the “Sport of Kings” Foundation in memory of Terry.
