The town of Silverado is what's known as the Silverado Canyon area. Mostly residentail with a few stores. The Modjeska Peak can be appreciated to the south. The area's terrain make it a favorite for those looking for hiking or mountain biking activities, so many of those looking for homes in these areas are interested in the popular trails nearby: the Modjeska Trail and Live Oak Canyon Trail.
