"The Doheny Longboard Surfing Association is an organization dedicated to board surfing in a clean and natural environment. In relation to that philosophy, the D.L.S.A. will act as a support group for other organizations with similar views and objectives."

The numbers we are about to display correspond to the DataQuick's latest numbers  - ending in June 8th.  If you were wondering what the latest trend in the Orange County Real Estate Markert is, here's the patterns its showing:

• 21 local ZIPs had both sales gains and price gains in the period. These double-gainers had combined sales volume equal to 30% of the Orange County market.
• 28 of O.C.'s 83 ZIP codes with gains in their respective median selling price. Overall, buyers' prices were -0.5% vs. a year ago.
• Taking sales volume in consideration, home-sale pricing is up in ZIPs representing 37% of the Orange County market.

San Clemente: the city of San Clemente does it display of Fireworks at the Pier. At approximately 9:00 p.m. the City continues its annual tradition with a spectacular fireworks display from the Municipal Pier. Admission is free. San Clemente Summer Concerts at the Pier 2012!

San Clemente already kicked off its summer concert series, with a great perfomance from the San Clemente High and Shorecliffs Middle School bands, who played the opener of the 13th annual beach series near the pier this past June 6th.

If you missed that one, don't worry! There's three more shows are on the schedule through Aug. 23, featuring Beatles, blues and reggae music. Just like most of the events hosted by the city, the admission is free for all four concerts on the schedule, which all will run from 6 p.m. to dusk on the sand between the San Clemente Pier and Marine Safety headquarters.

Here's the schedule ( all the dates are on a Thursday):

July 26: Paperback Writer, a Beatles tribute band.

Aug. 9: Blues by Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers.

San Clemente Ocean Festival coming up! July 21st & 22nd, 2012

The San Clemente Ocean Festival is coming again to the city this upcoming July 21st and 22nd, of 2012. The summer annual celebration is a great opportunity to get the family together, head to the San Clemente Pier and have some fun! There's many surf contests, races and activities for the kids including awards, a woody car exhibit displayed at the pier and an Ocean Art Show, at Parque Del Mar, overlooking the event. Other activities include : Face Painting, Carnival Games, *Ocean Institute & “Kid Natural” booths for everyone, with many vendors. Pancake breakfasts in the morning, and there will be a free concert on Saturday Night!

June brings Movies at the Park in Dana Point!

This really nice and family friendly tradition that started four years ago, already started this June 1st with the 'Lion King' at the Lantern Bay Park ( this is the park located directly across from the Marriott hotel - that overlooks the Dana Point Harbor).

For those wondering, is basically a showing of a family friendly movie, where the city provides free popcorn and people bring their chairs and blankets. There's also beverages and snacks available for purchase, and the proceeds go towards a local school or non profit organization.

Signs of Recovery? Several new restaurants coming to Mission Viejo!

Some economists say restaurant sales are good indicators of how our local economy is faring. As we see many signs of recovery within the real estate industry in all of Orange County, the city of Mission Viejo is not the exception.

Several restaurants including chain ones and small ones, recently annouced that they are either opening in Mission Viejo or are planning to soon.
