The popular event in Dana Point which marks the 47th year of its existence this year, will start this following weekend ( March 3-4) and finalize on March 10-11 2018.

The festivities on this two-weekend event brings together the community in no other way. Highlights for this year’s Festival of Whales, besides the incredible gray whale watching expeditions, include lessons by wildlife artist Wyland, Marine Mammal lectures, sailing and stand-up paddling clinics, Captain Dave’s Undersea Eco Carnival and the delectable 7th annual Whale of a Clam Chowder Cook-off.

San Clemente will celebrate the "San Clemente Day" this February 28th! The day will commemorate the incorporation of Orange County’s southernmost beach town as a municipality on Feb. 28, 1928.
