Love to drive around at night looking for some of the the best neighborhoods when it comes to the being festive during the holidays in Orange County?
Here's a small list of some of the best places to see Christmas lights in Orange County : from homes to streets to events, we have it right around us.
Dana Point:
The Holiday Parade of Lights at the Harbor tops this one. Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats in their best holiday spirit and you can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor.
- Where: Dana Point Harbor
- When: December 9, 10, 16, & 17, 2016
While in Dana Point - the city has done a terrific job with the renovation of PCH and it's very festive this time of the year. Drive all the way from DP starting at the south end towards Monarch Beach into Laguna. It's a great display of lights.
Laguna Niguel:
There's a very festive street with lights on all the houses, and houses that are blinking to music.
- Where: 2011 Elder Court, 5 Tunis
Lake Forest:
There's the home of Bob Norris, who prides himself in displaying more than 40,000 lights that blinking to synchronized Christmas songs via your car radio.
Where: 24952 Greenbay Drive
Some of our favorites are also Ashbrook St and Buckwood.
Ladera Ranch:
Although many if not all of the neighborhoods in Ladera Ranch get in the spirit, here we want to note the Sarasota neighborhood, with this home:
Where: 2011 Bramford Street
The entire neighborhood gets into the spirit too, so not only this home is a must see in the area.
Another street that has been our favorite on past years is Shively St.
San Clemente:
Like Ladera Ranch, San Clemente's Talega gets very festive, a couple of neighborhoods - Sabella and Monterrey- usually go all out with the lights and festive displays. Check out Via Promesa, Via Cuenta Nueva and Cristobal.
Within downtown, the Avenida del Mar gest super festive and here's a few of past years favorites : 2931 Calle Heraldo, 245 W. Canada
Mission Viejo:
To finish our list, here's some homes that have been really nicely decorated in the past in the city of Mission Viejo. They are: 26152 Cordillera (Whoville House), 23446 Bolivar Street, 27093 Pinario and Via Amistoso Street.
Hope you get out there to check these lights display and if you have any that would like to add to the list, let us know! Happy Holidays!
