Love to drive around at night looking for some of the the best neighborhoods when it comes to the being festive during the holidays in Orange County?
Here's a small list of some of the best places to see Christmas lights in Orange County : from homes to streets to events, we have it right around us.
Dana Point:
The Holiday Parade of Lights at the Harbor tops this one. Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats in their best holiday spirit and you can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor.

As part of the many cities of Orange County encouraging their residents to decorate for the holidays, Mission Viejo residents came up to the plate and shared, and continue to share the holiday spirit by competing in the annual Holiday Lighting Contest, that has been hosted for over 30 years by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee.
Are you looking to bring your kid to somewhere in South Orange County for a fun day full of Easter related activities? Many cities are putting together events this Saturday, and depending on if you want to be by the beach or inland, here's some of our yearly favorites:
For many years, South County beach cities residents have talked about having a open area at the beach where dogs can run freely and if the city of San Clemente approves it, there would be an beach area that would let dogs run unleashed at a designated acre at North Beach from 4 to 9am daily. This is the area that is right in front of the parking lot that follows the North Beach trail, where dogs are allowed, but only on leash, and not on the sand. This would be as a one year test and will be discussed this following Tuesday.
