Since the holidays will be here before we know it, it is never too late to start searching (or blogging) about the best lights show around us here in Orange County and creating new lifetime memories. Here's a new display for this year: Dana Point's Illuminocean.
The Dana Point Harbor will be transformed into an awe-inspiring holiday wonderland: IlluminOcean. This ocean-themed lighting attraction will stretch for more than one mile and will feature giant sea sculptures and moving illuminated tunnels. From octopus and sharks, to starfish and surfers, the dazzling displays are highlighted by a towering glow-motion tree, light tunnels stretching longer than a football field and over a dozen gigantic lighting sculptures —some so large, visitors can walk through and inside the belly of a glowing 40-foot Blue whale! There will be 18 large-scale lighting displays for your family to enjoy...and the best part: is all free!
Check out this pic, the City of Dana Point has just shared their first rendering photo of what the holiday attractions will look like, and we were so excited to share it with all of you. Stay tuned as we will share more about the holiday attraction as it gets closer.
IlluminOcean will run for 40 consecutive nights from November 26, 2014 to January 4, 2015 from 4:30 p.m. to Midnight.
