Silverado and Santiago Canyon Real Estate
The Silverado and Santiago Canyon Real Estate is comprised of the homes surrounding the Santiago, Trabuco and Silverado Canyons. Silverado is an unincorporated area of Orange County, located in the Santa Ana mountains and within the boundaries of the Cleveland National Forest. The area was mined extensively for silver during the late 19th century, therefore the name. Home to a number of artists and craftsmen, the community is made of a general store, a restaurant, a public library, an elementary school, a church, two fire stations, and a post office. A local landmark near Silverado is Cook's Corner, popular with bikers. From rustic 'vintage' old cabins, bungalows, single family homes, to equestrian ranches and estates, all can be found here.
