Aside from the multiple divisions of races that will take place throughout the day, April 30 will kick off with the Killer Cove 5K Challenge and 1K Family Fun Run. Both events are new to the schedule this year.
The DPGP Sport & Family Festival is hosting a unique Fan Zone Expo Village that offers vendor opportunities to intimately associate with participants in a fun leisurely environment with; food, beverages, music and up close sports action.

The race is set to start in the Lantern District, then loop runners down into the Dana Point Harbor. On the way back from the Harbor, runners will have to go up Cove Road, which features an 18 percent grade for a quarter of a mile. (Love Dana Point? Check out the current homes for sale in the area)
