Are you and your family ready to kick off the Holiday Season with a visit to one of the many ( and gorgeous) Tree Lightning Ceremonies in OC ? All around in Orange County there's several of these events, but we wanted to highlight the ones that we have liked the most over the years. Most of the events are set to happen this November, so ...chop,chop! Let's get ready!

Fashion Island Annual Holiday Tree Lighting hosted by Mickey Mouse & Friends from the Disneyland® Resort.
The complimentary event will be held in the Neiman Marcus - Bloomingdale's Courtyard at 6:00pm on November 15 and 16 with exclusive performances which will culminate in the lighting of our stunning 90-foot Christmas tree.

Thursday, November 21, 6:30pm : South Coast Plaza Tree Lighting

The Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) invites you to kick-off the holiday season with song and dance! Enjoy a free performance by Unplugged and MONTAGE!, OCSA’s premier performing group, at the South Coast Plaza Tree Lighting Ceremony. Sunday, November 24, 4 p.m.: Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel Tree Lightning

This one is one of our favorites. The resort does a really great job on getting that cozy Holiday spirit. The free event includes holiday music and a visit by Santa Claus. Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Miracles for Kids.

Sunday, December 1st, 4-7pm : St Regis Monarch Beach Resort Tree Lighting

Guests and locals are invited to visit The St. Regis Monarch Beach for this year’s Tree Lighting and Sand Sculpture Dedication. Featuring guest hostess Misty May-Treanor, festive treats, visits with Santa Claus, holiday carolers and hot cocoa and cider.

Monday, December 2nd, 4-7pm : St Regis Monarch Beach Resort Tree Lighting

The Tree Lighting ceremony at Montage Laguna Beach is a beautiful way to begin the season. The event is open to the public, and the resort always puts on a fabulous, festive evening. So gather your friends and family for a special evening of holiday carolers, hot cocoa, children’s activities, live music and the traditional tree lighting ceremony in the gorgeous oceanfront setting. You can also make a night of it and stay over at this beautiful ocean front hotel.
