Please join the San Juan Capistrano Friend of the Library for a special Bicentennial Celebration on Saturday, August 1st for appetizers and refreshments and music .

10 am-4 pm: exhibit: Shore Whaling Along So Cal Coast.
2:30: Lecture, book signing with David T Dana III, 'Into the Tiger’s Mouth: A Novel of the China Trade 1857-1863'
4-5:30 pm: Croquet Tournament 
4:30 – 7:30: A Culinary Journey Around Cape Horn, featuring South American Bocaditos (Mini-bites) from Local Restaurants 
5-5:30: Mexican lasso demonstration
8 pm: Live in Concert: Romancing the West presents 'A musical history of the American West with a tribute to Richard Henry Dana's human rights legacy'.
