Looking for a cool event to visit this weekend? Doheny Wood, the annual Woodie Club and Car Show at Doheny State Beach is on this Saturday!

Woodies start lining up the south day-use area at dawn and begin departing in the mid-afternoon. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled day. 

 “Doheny Wood” is a spectacular all-woodie car show at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point (25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629). ( Check out current Dana Point Homes for sale)

More than 100 classic woodie wagons will be on display along the sand from 9AM-3 PM.

Visitors can eat a free pancake breakfast and enter raffles for prizes such as restaurant certificates.

The event concludes with an awards ceremony that will recognize the winning vehicles in categories such as mayor’s choice and shiniest hubcaps.

Also recognized in the ceremony will be the Wounded Warrior Project, which will benefit from the event proceeds.

The only fee for the event is park admission.

Park admission is $15; $14 for seniors -or you can use your California State Park Pass.
