Looking for a fun activity for this Earth's Day - Saturday April 21st? The City of San Clemente and the Watershed Task Force will be co-hosting the 16th annual Earth Day Festival, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at Parque Del Mar in the Pier Bowl near the San Clemente Pier.

Start with a morning beach clean up (8am). Supplies will be provided to all participants who want to walk the beach and collect trash and debris. Then come to the Parque del Mar - just above the Pier, and enjoy a free-to-the-public festival that will feature live music, educational displays, environmental vendors, and artists.

Looking for Earth Day activities in Dana Point?

Come join the Dana Point Headlands Conservation Area for our annual Earth Day Celebration! This is a free event for all ages featuring recycling and coloring activities, nature tours, watershed and water quality 10, plant and bring home a native plant activity, Native American crafts, live snake interaction, talk on OC's endangered species, Native American basket weaving (space is limited, please RSVP), face painting, FREE giveaways and FREE bbq lunch!  

Also at Doheny Beach - the California State Parks Foundation will host a clean up day - meet at the campfire center. Bring shovels, work/gardening gloves, drinking water, a hat, and sunscreen. Identify yourselves as volunteers at the kiosk as you enter the park to receive a complimentary parking pass to display in the window of your vehicle.   The same event is happening at San Clemente State Beach.
