SUMMER CONCERTS AT THE PARK:
The Summer Concerts in the Park Series are still going on in Dana Point. This next Sunday we have  Savor -Tribute to Santana, plus two Opening Bands: Ken Garcia Band & Keston & The Rhythm Killers

DOHENY SURF FESTIVAL:
Another big event is about to happen: on August 11-12th, The Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association (DSBIA), San Onofre Foundation (SOF) and Utopia Entertainment, Inc. are producing the Doheny Surf Festival. This fundraising event helps support San Onofre, San Clemente, Trestles and Doheny State Parks. The two-day event, presented by Subaru along with supporting sponsors Kona Brewing and Rubio’s, is an expanded version of the summer surf event that has been held for the last four years. It will include all things Surf: exhibits, woodies, vintage surfboards, music, tandem surfing, nose riding, Outrigger Canoe and SUP demonstrations, Kids’ Corner, environmental and ocean education, state park wildlife, autographs and photo opportunities with surf legends as well as current professionals. A major music lineup includes headliner Eddie Money, as well as Everlast, Fishbone, ALO, Honk, Common Sense, Paula Fuga, Le Blorr plus others will entertain 3,500 concert attendees each day. 20,000 attendees are expected to visit Doheny beach during the two-day event.

Cost: from $29 per day to $49 for a 2-day pass. There's also VIP tickets for up  to $125.

SAN CLEMENTE STREET FAIRE AND FIESTA

On Avenida Del Mar, in San Clemente ' downtown', the San Clemente Fiesta Street Festival is presented by the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce and participatingsponsors. It is a unique family-orientated event, held on the second Sunday in August from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Ave. Del Mar in beautiful San Clemente.

The Fiesta Street Festival Block Party represents a variety of activities that attract numerous families and visitors to the Southern California Coast year after year, approximately 25,000 people will attend this party. Continuous entertainment on three stages, food booths, contests and games will be provided by non-profit organizations.
