The holidays are here and a fun - different activity - for our land of palm trees and beach is to go to an ice-skating place near us.  There's plenty of pop-up holiday rink nears us this 2017- 2018 season. Here we go:

Costa Mesa:

DEC. 21 - JAN. 7: Winter Fest OC 2017 - Snow, Tubing, Ice Rink. Don't miss this overwhelming winter paradise with ice skating, tubing, snow flurries, fireworks, Santa, crafts, carolers, a stroll-through lights display and more at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Capital "P" perfect for date nights or family outings!

Irvine:

Through JAN. 7: Ice Skating Under The Stars Outdoor Rink: Spectrum Center. Spectacular O.C. setting with fun "Themed Thursdays." Want to skate in your jammies? Not a problem! Check the calendar of events.

•  The Rinks - Irvine Inline - in Irvine : Public skating is offered daily from 2:00pm – 4:00pm* and Saturday nights 7:00pm -10:00pm*.
•  OC Roller Girls- The Rinks  - in Huntington Beach : Public skating is available every Monday through Thursday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday night from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.*
• Lake Forest Ice Palace - in Lake Forest : Public skating Tuesdays, Thursdays from 12:15 - 2:45pm, or Saturday and Sunday 1:30 - 3:30pm until Decemeber 17th 2017.
• Aliso Viejo Ice Palace - in Aliso Viejo : Monday-Friday 2:15pm-4:45pm, Saturday and Sundays 12:30pm-3:00pm, Wed 6:15pm-8:00pm  or Friday 7:30pm-9:30pm
