The City of San Clemente will be honoring all branches of the U.S. military, including soldiers and those who have made a sacrifice. Please join us as we honor them, in Park Semper Fi overlooking the SC Pier and ocean. All service members welcome. Meet our Marines from Camp Pendleton: 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, San Clemente’s adopted Marine Corps Unit.

The VFW Post 9934 and the City of Dana Point will present a beautiful Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 28, in Pines Park, 34941 Camino Capistrano, honoring the sacrifices made by our nation to earn our freedom. The program will start at 10:00 AM. The program includes the Marine Corps Color Guard from Camp Pendleton. A special part of this program is the “Boots and Rifle” ceremony conducted by officers of Post 9934, and the bugle call, TAPS played by that master of the trumpet, David Longoria.

VFW Serra Post 3801 hosts its annual Memorial Day remembrance ceremony at the Field of Honor flag display in Los Rios Park. The traditional ceremony is open to the public and includes an invocation, keynote speaker and comments from the VFW, city dignitaries, Orange County Fire Authority and Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
