Brought to you by the San Clemente Chamber of Commerce, The Fiesta Street Festival is back once again on Sunday, August 5th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. This annual tradition will entertain the community while raising funds for various non-profit organizations and charitable causes. Bring the brood and take in the sights, sounds and enticing smells on Avenida Del Mar in beautiful downtown San Clemente.

The Fiesta is truly a jam-packed day of fun and activities for the whole family. Enjoy music, fantastic fare, many displays and shows and a multitude of games, activities, contests and more. There's sure to be a little something for everyone!

Where: Del Mar Street in downtown San Clemente

What to look for?

Nonprofit exhibitions:  45 local, nonprofit service organizations that use the Fiesta as their yearly fund-raiser.  Their contributions to the event include: array of international food booths, refreshments and game booths for all ages.  This opportunity for our local service organizations has been a means for local business, through the Chamber of Commerce, to work as a unit for the betterment of our community. 

 Live Entertainment: Three stages with continuous entertainment throughout the day.  There are also performances from local nonprofit dance groups, strolling magicians, artists, jugglers and clowns.  Whatever your taste is in music and dancing, the Fiesta will have it.
 
Contests: Contests and events, for all ages, are planned, including: Hula Hoop Contest, Pie Eating Contest, Baskin Robbins Brain Freeze Ice Cream Eating Contest, Jump Rope, Tortilla Toss, Easter Egg Hunt, Costco Diaper Derby, Piñata Contest, Pickle Eating and Rocket Fizz Soda & Candy Shop Bubble Gum Blowing Contest.
 
Salsa Challenge: The Salsa Challenge is back and hotter than ever!  Individual and restaurant chefs create recipes which are then judged.  This contest continues to expand in popularity.
 
Teams are encouraged to decorate their areas by wearing sombreros, ponchos and huaraches.  They are then awarded prizes and the opportunity to vie for the best salsa North of the border.  The public relishes the idea of sampling several varieties of ?California Hot Sauces? and quenches their palates with cool refreshments.
 
Arts & Craft Exhibit: The Fiesta will feature an arts & craft show.  This exhibit showcases hand-crafted and unique merchandise from talented individual from Southern California. 
 
Business Exposition: Fiesta Business Expo is a great opportunity for businesses to highlight their goods and services.  The Expo gives companies direct contact with numerous potential new customers in a single day!  Must be a member in good standing to participate.
 
Children's Activities: There are many special activities for children of all ages, featuring: Contests, Face Painters, Balloon Art and more.
 
Exhibits:The U.S. Marines & U.S. Navy will all be displaying vehicles and information. Other exhibits include: Pet Project Foundation, , O.C. Sheriff's Department Drug Education, Anaheim Ducks, San Diego Gas & Electric and many more

PARK IT
Free parking and Round Trip Shuttle Service will be available to and from the Fiesta at San Clemente High School, located at 700 Avenida Pico. Three complimentary shuttles will run from 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
