Looking for something to do on Wednesdays in Irvine? How about a free concert? Mason and Irvine Regional Parks will host outdoor concerts this summer!
There's going to be a lot of free concerts at Mason Regional Park and Irvine Regional Park , presenting local musical artists performing live in the outdoors June through September.
Starting July, the concert series will be held at Mason Regional Park in Irvine with three free concerts on Wednesday evenings in July. July 11 presents the popular Motown-inspired group, Stone Soul. July 18 welcomes rhythm and blues favorite The Derek Bordeaux Group. Top 40-Latin dance craze Soto will perform on July 25.
Irvine Regional Park will present a rockin’ summer series on Wednesdays, August 22 through September 5. This series kicks off with high-energy top-40 and country tribute band Gold Rush Country performing on August 22. The funky eight-piece popular soul ensemble Cold Duck hits the stage on August 29. September 5 closes out the 2012 summer concert series with crooner swing sensation, Phat Cat Swinger.
All concert events are from 6:30 to 8 p.m., free and open to the public of all ages. Friends and families are invited to come out and enjoy fantastic live music under the stars at OC Parks this summer season.
